ISSA VIBE Talent Showcase will consist of a Cypher (rap battle), Sing-off, Dance-off and Poetry Slam. The Normal Theater is proud to collaborate with ISSA VIBE to present this unique evening of competitive entertainment. The cypher portion will consist of 8 rappers. The Sing-off, Dance-off and Poetry Slam will consist of 5-7 performers for each category. The Cypher will be modeled after a bracket style competition while the other categories will be judged on a 50 point rubric. Each category will have a judges vote but the audience will also vote for the crowd favorite as well. The audience vote will be added to the judges vote to decide the winner for each category. The person with the highest score at the end wins.
Come out and support emerging artists in this live format show at the historic Normal Theater. The show will begin at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:30pm.
