Recently the world lost a true icon in filmmaker Agnès Varda. An essential voice in the French New Wave movement and as deft with documentaries as she was with narrative features, Varda leaves behind a truly remarkable filmography, creating moving works in to her ninth decade.  Over the course of this year we're going to dig deeper in to her catalogue, and we look forward to the journey.

Cléo from 5 to 7
Selfish pop singer Cléo (Corinne Marchand) has two hours to wait until the results of her biopsy come back. After an ominous tarot card reading, she visits her friends, all of whom fail to give her the emotional support she needs. Wandering around Paris, she gains perspective as the audience gains a remarkable window in to the city as it was in 1962. A stunning film of vulnerability and hope. NR / 90 min. In French w/ subtitles.
